Underground Auto Electrician

Employment Conditions:

• $85/hr + super depending on experience.
• 7:7 Roster available
• 3 month contract with potential for permanency.
• FIFO From Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie and Kambalda.
• Day & Night Shift.
• Diagnose, problem solve and fault find on the job.
• Test equipment, ensure safety compliance and undertake appropriate risk management (Completion of Take 5’s, JSEAs and Hazards ID’s).
• Regular drug & alcohol screening onsite.
• Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job.

Skills & Experience

• Trade Certificate (Australian Recognised or Equivalent VETASSES) 
• Underground experience is favourable
• Current / Valid Drivers License (C Class minimum)
• National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months)
• Aircon Ticket Highly desired
• RCT Tickets Highly Desired
• Work unsupervised at times
• Experience maintaining, servicing and attending breakdown repairs on a fleet of Sandvik, CAT, Atlas Cop CO or Epiroc Underground mining equipment
• Basic Computer Skills
