Underground Electrician$85/hr + Super | FIFO WA | 8/6 & 7/7 Roster
Scotford Fennessy is partnering with a well-established gold mining operation seeking an experienced Underground Electrician to join its maintenance team.

This position offers genuine long-term stability, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of underground electrical systems that directly support production.

Your Responsibilities

  • Install underground infrastructure
  • Maintain reticulation systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults
  • Repair drilling equipment
  • Service remote systems
  • Maintain dewatering assets
  • Support telemetry systems
  • Maintain network communications
  • Complete scheduled maintenance
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns
  • Update drawings and registers
  • Participate in risk assessments

About You

  • Australian recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Valid A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Experience with fixed plant and/or processing environments
  • Instrumentation and PLC experience (Allen Bradley highly regarded)
  • Current C Class driver’s licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • HV Switching Certificate (desirable)
  • Working at heights and EWP tickets
  • Additional tickets (crane, dogging, forklift) highly regarded
