Roster Options: 2/2, 8/6 or 7/7 FIFO
Employment Type: Contract or Permanent

• $80 – $90 per hour + Super (paid on all hours worked)
• $160,000 – $195,000 + Super
• Performance Bonus

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Underground Electricians for multiple opportunities across WA underground gold operations. These roles offer a mix of maintenance, breakdown, fault-finding and project work on a range of underground infrastructure and mining equipment.

Whether you’re an experienced UG Electrician or a mining electrician looking to transition underground, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Underground electrical maintenance, fault finding and installations
• Maintenance of underground reticulation systems (1000V/415V)
• Servicing substations, switchboards, RMUs and VSDs
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of dewatering and ventilation systems
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance on:
  • Development Jumbos
  • Production Drills
  • Diamond Drills
  • Loaders
• RCT and tele-remote systems support
• HV/LV switching and statutory testing
• Maintaining electrical drawings, schematics and statutory records
• Contributing to safe and efficient underground operations

Requirements

• WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• Previous mining experience (underground experience highly regarded)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current WA Driver’s Licence
• HV Switching Qualification
• National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Full Australian Working Rights
