Underground Geology Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Geology Technician to join our client’s underground operation on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with multiple departments within the underground mine and develop your skills with one of the big names in the industry!

About the Role:

You will work closely with the Geological, Surveying and Ventilation departments, the ideal candidate will have at least one years previous underground experience as a geology technician, be technically minded, very keen to train and learn new skills and take direction well. This is a great chance to develop your skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

• UG and surface stockpile checks
• Conduct EOM stockpile audit
• Stope inspections
• Drive wash down and scanning/photography
• Data entry
• Various ventilation tasks
• Production hole surveys

About You

• At least one years experience working as an underground Geology Technician (essential)
• Confident driving LVs underground (essential)
• Manual Driving License (essential)
• Working at Heights (desirable)
• Full Australian Working Rights
