Working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, you’ll join a collaborative Technical Services team at a modern underground operation that offers genuine career development, industry-leading technology and the opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold deposits.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in providing accurate and timely survey services that support safe, efficient and productive underground mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete underground and surface survey work to support mining operations.
- Conduct development and production mark-ups in accordance with mine plans.
- Maintain and validate survey control networks.
- Produce and maintain survey plans, statutory documentation and digital survey records.
- Complete cavity monitoring surveys and volume calculations.
- Support mine planning through accurate survey data and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Services and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, company standards and survey best practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and survey data management.
About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering accurate survey outcomes.
Ideally you’ll have:
- Qualifications in Mine Surveying, Spatial Science or a related discipline.
- Previous underground mine surveying experience (hard rock)
- Experience using Deswik is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with Leica survey equipment will be highly regarded.
- Underground drone or Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) experience is advantageous but not essential.
