Our client is a growing and forward-thinking gold producer shaping the future of underground mining in Western Australia. With a strong focus on safety, sustainability and operational excellence, they are building a profitable and long-term Australian gold business.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Production Engineer to join their Northern Operations team on an 8/6 roster. This role offers strong operational exposure and the chance to build meaningful underground experience while supporting safe and efficient production delivery.
About the Role Provide technical and planning support to underground operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of short-term production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to underground mining operations
- Prepare short-term and weekly production schedules
- Complete stope reconciliations and production reporting
- Review drilling and blasting plans
- Maintain and manage mining databases
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety systems, procedures and legislative requirements
About You
- Bachelor of Mining Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in underground mining
- Underground time completed
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in mining software and Microsoft Office
- Current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence
