Underground Safety and Training Advisor
Scotford Fennessy Recruitment is seeking experienced Underground Safety Advisors to support mining operations across Western Australia.
These roles are suited to safety professionals with strong underground mining experience who can provide hands-on safety leadership, coaching, and support to operational teams. Working closely with site leadership and frontline personnel, you will play a key role in driving safety performance, compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement across underground operations.

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working as an Underground Safety Advisor within mining
- Strong understanding of underground mining operations, hazards, and critical controls
- Experience conducting workplace inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Ability to provide safety coaching and influence operational teams at all levels
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, mining regulations, and safety management systems
- ICAM Lead Investigator training (highly regarded)
- Relevant WHS qualifications (Cert IV / Diploma WHS preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across site teams
